What is covered
Injury or death of the dog
We cover treatment costs for injuries or illnesses (including pseudorabies) arising during the hunting day, as well as the dog's death or emergency euthanasia.
Loss of the dog
If your dog disappears during the hunt, the same benefit as for death applies.
Wolf attacks
Damage caused by a wolf attack is covered.
Tracking the next day
Coverage also extends to tracking carried out during the two days following the hunting day.
What is not covered
Use outside the booked day
Coverage is limited to the selected hunting day and the following two tracking days; it does not cover other activities.
Undeclared dogs
Only hunting dogs expressly named at the time of taking out the policy are insured.
Owner's gross negligence
Damage resulting from grossly negligent care or handling of the dog may be excluded.
